what is the difference in a WB24A and a WB24B carburater? I have a parts motor for a 105 Chrysler and the carbs have different numbers although the look the same. Will these carbs interchange and which will preform better? I am having a problem with the carbs on the running motor and wanted to change to the parts motor carb.
thanks
Robert

Re: chrysler carbs

The difference could be where the fuel line fits.An A might be a top carb with just a an elbow in.The b might be a fitting that has a barb to pass gas to the top carb.
Pics??
The A@B might be jet size.
We need more info???? What year??Serial#.Mod# J

Re: chrysler carbs

Jerry has it right. the only difference is in the fuel line fitting.

Switching carbs will yield negligible performance increases if you stay with WB carbs, even those on the 120 (1 5/16 diam), However, on your 105, you can switch to the larger manifold covers and substitute TC carbs with about twice the venturi area (1 5/8 diam). This MAY (not will) yield a couple of MPH more but that's it.
