Yes. The air screw Usually on top of the carb.Turn it in lightly till it bottoms. Then out 1 and 1/16=1/8
Then in the water, start it up and turn the screw in till it bucks/snorts/coughs/misses etc. Then out 1/2 turn.Do this on all the carbs.
If nothing happens then more is wrong.J

Thanks ... I just got to find the time to leave the family at home so I can tune the carbs without everyone waiting on me.

Re: Chrysler Carb Tuning

Jerry, would it be correct to do the carbs one at a time or all together? I have been doing them both at the same time, and this may explain the difficulty I'm having in getting them properly adjusted.

AHhh! You should have three carbs on the three cylinder 70. And yes, you do them all at the same time, contrary to what the Clymers states. Look up and read my post from about two weeks ago on synchronizing carbs and timing.

Be certain you know what you are doing---Carbs stick out front like women's breasts and men seem to have a need to play with them. However, just like with breasts, if you don't know what you are doing, you will get in trouble.
