hi i have just got my self a chrysler outboard model 354ha serial 4099 and need to know the fuel mix for it also a wiring diagam for starting,stopping and choke also there are 2 wires coming from under the flywheel any clues cheers richard

thanx i have downloaded a chrysler outboard service manual for the 35 but no detail on wiring what do'es what and where they go it this seloc manual better

The year of the motor is 1970. The choke is engaged by pushing the key in. While the key is pushed in the choke butterfly should be closed. When you release the key it should open. Not sure what wires you are talking about near the flywheel. Email me at ralgoetz@comcast.net and I might be able to help you with the wiring diagram.

If your engine hasn't been used in a while, it wouldn't hurt to go with 24-1 oil mix for the first couple of tanks. I think that one of those wires is for killing the engine when you turn off the ignition switch.
