(meant to say rebuild or repower)

I'm looking at a '76 Pacemaker Wahoo 26 CC with a chrysler 318/velvet drive that turns over but is dated, and has seized parts like alternator, starter, etc. I would like to repower with a new 5.7 crusader and drive unit but unsure of the challanges and costs to mount/convert to the GM block? I am open to rebuilding the 318 but worry about sourcing parts. Other than hoisting the engine in and out, I'm planning on doing the work myself. Any thoughts are appreciated!

Florida is the mopar capitol of the world. finding parts for the 318 will be fairly easy. Then again, I would probably switch to a 360 block.

Thanks for the link. I'm sure someone has done a motor swap on one these boats. I'll keep looking.

Wish I could be of more help, but it shouldn't be that difficult with no outdrive. Your just looking at motor and transmission mount locations for the most part.

Good luck
