Hi.

I have an old outboard Chrysler 15 HP. It is probably a 1976 model, but I am not 100% sure. I need to replace a specific part which is broken and I cannot find it anywhere. There is a black plastic 1.5-2 inch gearwheel, visible once you take off the cover, that as you pull the chord to start the engine, it goes up about half inch and turns the engine to make it start. This little gearwheel broke after lots of chord pulls and now I cannot find a spare as I said. Please help me!!

Thanks!

Somewhere around the carburator you should be able to find a model number for your motor. It would be helpful to have that number to assist you in finding your part.
