Chris Craft (Calypso 26): Does the low windshield deflect wind&spray?

Possibly a dumb question from a new S. Florida boater and I apologize. I'm looking at a Chris Craft Calypso 26 and Scout 275 Dorado. The windshield on the CC seems a lot lower. I'm not tall, but I'm looking over it (especially if I'm on the raised seat). Is there a difference between the utility of the Scout and CC on deflecting wind and spray? Does this bother people on the Chris Craft?

Thank you!

Probably not going to deflect spray . I had a small windshield on a fly bridge that slanted forward . That configuration did push air up and over your head even though the shield was closer to chest/ shoulder height. Never got spray up there to see if it would move that . Take either boat for a sea trial , that should tell you right away , at least the wind aspect . Unless you can get out in 2-4 footers and hit the waves so your getting the desired effect.

on a 26' boat, you should be more worried about rain than spray.
