Bought boat and motor that had been sitting. Rebuilt carbs, but cant get choke linkage right. It was apart when I started. The manual I have is a selco, and doesnt give a picture, or good diagram. Anyone know where I can get this info, or does anyone have this motor that could fax or email me a picture? Reposted, choke not clutch linkage. :D

That Motor Doesnt have a clutch on it... theres a shift rod with a little adjustment and u can adjust the controll cable more..... look on the lower unit and where u put muffs on it there should be a couple screws holding the plastic in.. take them out and the shift rod in right in ther

Wrong, there is no shift rod in there. It comes out the top of the L/U in front of the drive shaft. Its connected to the shift linkage on the motor up under the bottom carburator.
