anyone know where i can find the little chip that goes into a humminbird gps/fishfinder to show good spots for fishing and wrecks and all that stuff....i asked for one at gander mountain and the 2 guys working that section looked at eachother with no clue as to what i was talking about

those are the ones....but i cant buy anything off of that...thanks for the help i will look through the dealers that they have.

cabellas sells them. I bet gander sells them also. Trick is finding the guy at gander that knows where they are.

the navionics is not a hot spots chip though, navionics provides detailed water depth and expanded navigation. also offers some info on marinas, etc.

we have both chips (bought them both at boaters world as a christmas pres for my husband ). I see you are in florida - each chip for the 'hot spots' comes in territory - I have lake erie navionics for depth and detailed navigation ... and the hot spots for ohio to kentucky for the hot fishing spots. it even tells what fish are where (like the printed maps - very cool)

check into the features of each chip type - we find they each offer detail that the other lacks. iboats sells the navionics chip...
