Hello everyone,
I just want to say hi now that I have a second.
I have not been around iBoats for almost a year. It has been a tough one.
I did move to northern Wisconsin. My house is still on the market after more than a year and more than a $40,000 drop in price. It was nice to be back and read some posts. I read the one about credit card debt and it is/has come close with me even though my credit score is over 740.
I am finally have some hope things are going to turn around (hope I didn't jinx myself.)
- I am buying another house for a good deal
- Have a renter or maybe even a buyer my old house. (They will get an unbelievably good deal)
- I may get off crutches Thursday.
- My Dad is going to be ok after his heart attack. It was close, the Dr said if the blockage had gotten stuck any other way, they would not been able to save him even though the blockage happened while he was in the hospital.
- My house no longer has 20,000 gallons of sewage in it.
- I had a good month last month so I should get paid a decent wage for the next 2 checks. (one of my last checks was $61 gross $56 net for 2 weeks)
- I found a place the sells outdated and damaged groceries for pennies on the dollar.
I won't go through the bad things because hopefully they are in the past. There are times in life where things can get tough enough, that you just have to laugh as life piles things on think to yourself that you still have it a lot better than a lot of other people.
My plans to be debt free and living in northern Wisconsin kind've went awry with the housing market crash and other things.
I want to say thank you to everyone for your encouraging words before my move. It is nice to know there are so many great people here at iBoats.
