I have a compression tester. Does anyone know where the coil wire is to disconnect so the motor won't start when I crank it?
thanks.

The coil wire(S) go to the spark plugs.

But,take all of the spark plugs out before doing the compression test.

when you take off the lanyard you will kill the spark.
than you can do a compression test without damaging anything.

Remove "all" of the spark plugs when checking the compression.

Leave the key in the off position. Crank the engine by using a small jumper wire between the battery terminal of the starter solenoid and the 3/8" nut on the solenoid that energizes it (not the 3/8" ground nut).
