I found this on ebay yesterday. It is a 1976 32' Campbell sun bridge crusier. They were/are built in Lake Havasu and I have only seen one of these before. There are quite a few 22 - 28 footers, and there was a Regatta last week and I drooled over a couple of them. According to this add they only made seven of the 32s. The smaller ones all have the helms to port which bugs me, but a flybridge kinda changes that as the controls are setup for the right hand. Anyway my last name is Campbell so I have always coveted them. This one is seriously calling my name, but the timing isn't really right . . . :( She needs me . . .

That... is a good-looking old boat. Looks like someone really took good care of her over the past 31 years.

No better time than the present; can't you work out some kind of deal with your job. Maybe no coffee while in TX in exchange for a few grand?

LMAO I'm thinking, thinking, still thinking. This would really work at Lake Conroe for the summer . . . hmmmmmm. I could just about handle it if I sold the Carrera, which for this, maybe the family would let me . . .

Be prepared for a HUGE fuel bill. You might consider fuel flow gages.

Yeah, I was wondering if QC married into BIG OIL? 'cause he'd sure need it with those two turbocharged 454's:eek:

Well, Ok QC, what was the bid on that beauty?

It got no bids . . . Really screwy add put together by some punk, incorrect info. it says no permit required to tow . . . yeah right, 12 foot Beam. Lots of stuff like that. He sent me an email at midnight last night and the guy said make an offer. I asked what the heck that meant as the auction had not ended yet . . . Literally ended at 3:38 AM and it was a local guy; what an idiot. I went to sleep thinking whatever happens, happens. I talked with him today and he is supposedly getting me in touch with the owner. We'll see. As much as it would hurt, I think I'd drag her to Havasu, play with her for a few months while up for sale. She'd be the Old Dame of the lake at Havasu . . . we'll see, I am always chasin' sumpin' but I don't catch many

Oh, I think if was gonna keep her I'd sell the engines in there. A couple of stock electronic SB 320s would run that boat great, and I think the existing engines are going to be finicky, but worth something.

I would hope you wouldn't do that before running her WOT with those twin-turbos a few times first!:D
