Cheap seats!!

Ordered 4 of them for the 66' ($27 each plus shipping if you order 2 or more). Now need to find cheap pedestals. I would like to have the rear seats removable. What I'm finding is that the lesser exspensive removable pedestals (pin type ie springfield king pin $45 3 piece set) are not rate for anything over trolling speed. Am I better off to just put the fixed hieght pedestal in a the rear seating option?? Any ideas out there.
