It is an illness. Even here in VT companies are "importing" workers for farms and the major ski areas. The immigration people have been having a field day.... one migrant worker (legal with an alien card) imports his family and friends to fill the other jobs. There are ton's of unemployed people who refuse to take these jobs. Where does it end? If an unemployed person takes a job that does not provide a liveable wage what choice do they have?<br /><br />I feel for the worker's in Ohio however, consider the wages (auto-workers) they have made in the past which has historically been higher than the average with above average bennies. Too many companies are too proud to drop there shorts and reduce the wages. A job at a reduced wage is better than no job.
Dayton will survive. <br /><br />Maybe if you all out in Seattle would buy a car other than a Lexus, BMW, VW or Audi, maybe GM and Ford could do better.<br /><br />We need the Mexican immigrants so we can sell more Chevies!
By the way, that poll quoted above is a total crock. Most americans are against illegal aliens. Did anyone see the AOL online poll the other day.....before they pulled it and buried it ?
