Chartplotter on a budget - any suggestions

I am not sure if this is the right place for this post but I am shopping for a chartplotter/GPS on a buget.
I can deal with black and white. I am going to be going a short distance in blue water off New Jersey. Any ideas suggestions? I was looking at Lowrance...maybe the LCX-15

with most of the low end plotters you will still need paper charts and navigation skills.

depending on your budget check out the raymarine a-65
