can anyone stop me taking members of the public out to fish if i charge them ? will i need public liability insurance and saftey cert?

Don't know about the UK, Johnny.<br /><br />In the US you would need a Captain's License from the US Coast Guard in addition to insurance, etc.<br /><br />My guess is that you would be really risking armageddon without proper training and certification.

Same deal here Johnny. You need insurance,safety certificate on the vessel, permission from your local council (they control who runs what business on the shoreline-you've got to pick people up somewhere) and a captain's ticket.
