Some of you may remember the tragic accident this last spring that took the lives or 10 Jr. Hockey players and their coach plus 4 others and injuring 15 other teammate's. A few destined to the pro's including the NHL It was international news, I first learned of it on CNN. Over 125 RCMP officers have been investigating since May and have laid 29 charges against the driver of the Tractor Trailer today. 16 charges of Dangerous Driving causing death and 13 counts of dangerous driving causing bodily injury. The entire nation mourned and the GoFundMe page raised over 15 million dollars including donations from the USA and others around the Globe. Thank you.

One bit of good news, one of the surviving players came out of a coma recently and will survive his injuries. Many of the surviving players were honoured last week at a Saskatchewan Rough Riders CFL game. Many a tear was shed. We continue to pray for the survivors, their families, all the Emergency response Police and Volunteer Firefighters and EMT pro's. And especially the folks that mourn the loss of their children.

The charges:

That has been so terribly sad. I really liked how the NHL honored those players.
