Last fall we bought a chaparral 260. We were able to take it out a couple time before winter and noticed that twice we had soaked carpeting in the cutty. We asked the local boat repair shop to see if they could locate the problem, but they were unable to find any problems - any idea where the water might be coming from.
Thanks,
connie

Silly Aussie doesn't know what cutty is. It's scotch for darned sake!! Crappy scotch, but scotch none-the-less.

I agree with Dunaruna, as long as it isn't a hatch seal . . . I guess if you boat in saltwater you could taste it . . :% If the boat is reasonably new and it's salty, then it's from the outside.
