I bought this boat used and is my first I/O as had outboards before. My bilge blower is mounted on the transom with a duct down in the bilge. The outlet is to the rear of the boat. There is another duct that vents to the rear and two side vents that have ducts attached but are just laying unsecured in random places. Any insight on how these should be routed would be most helpful. High/ low/ storage compartments to the sides of the engine, etc.

Ductwork should be going to your bilge to ventilate gas fumes that buildup at the lowest point. Side vents are designed to allow airflow when boat is moving, either in the water or on a trailer. place them at the lowest point in your bilge under your engine and you will be fine.

I'll have to get more duct, seems as though these were shortened due to being torn over the years. Thanks for replying.

It doesnt have to be anything special, vinyl, flexible dryer duct works just fine. Make sure you get some clamps to hold them where you want them, they tend to slide and bounce around
