Has anyone had a prop re-pitched and had it perform like a prop that was manufactured in the same pitch? The reason I ask is I have a stainless steel 19 pitch cupped prop re-pitched to a 17. Will a 19 pitch prop re-pitched to a 17, perform like the identical prop that was manufactured as a 17 pitch prop? Has anyone had any experience in doing some side by side testing? I suspect that maybe it depends on the prop design, and the skill of the shop that does the work?

Nope,... No Way....

Prop Shops can only bend the outer ears of the prop,... Not the root of the blades...

Re: Changing prop pitch

Kind of suspected that there was something not quite the same. Thanks for the input.
