Drive gear ratio is wrong between a V6 and 3.0L, won't work, you won't be able to prop it low enough. It may bolt up and run, but the boat would be a dog, lugging the engine (bad). The cost to re-gear the V6 drive, to work with your 3.0l is cost prohibitive, cheaper to get the correct drive. You need to find the correct ratio drive, 2.0.

What's your budget?

2:1 drives for the 3.0 are like stepping on leggos when you have kids.....they are everywhere. Just look in craigslist for cheep or free boats. Most are 3.0 boats with rotten hulls

Welcome Aboard!

What all is wrong with yours?

You didn't mention where you are located, have you looked at new and warranted SEI replacements available?
