So I've been having an issue with my bravo 3 wanting to shift in and out if gear hard. Originally thought it was just the cables but it seems I have a bit of play in the shifter and binding right at the assembly.
I then read the shifter from that time is pretty much junk (quicksilver 3000) and should be replaced. I was looking at a gen 2 box and cables. Is that compatible?
I'm pretty mechanically inclined but never done shifters before? Does the shift assembly come out easy (how)? Are the shift/throttle cables universal (and/or adjustable for length) or do I need to buy specific ends/lengths?
I figure rather than just cables I should run it all.
