I can't figure out how to change the turn signal bulb on this trailer, it is enclosed within a clear plastic dome that seems to be sealed. Have been unable to seperate the dome from the black plastic backing. Anyone have this problem?? I really don't want to break the dome to change the bulb. Any suggestions??

Is it possible that it is a sealed unit?

Pics might be helpful?

Welcome to iboats Gary.

I'm guessing you have a sealed Wesbar light unit.

They sell replacements here.

it sounds like one of the newer sealed units , and you replace the complet thing, and it is a much better way to go. In the old days you had to unplug the harness befor backing now with the sealed light units you dont have to , and the bulbs last many years

It is sealed and the bulb can't be changed. You'll have to buy a whole new assembly.

buy leds. i got them for my escort trailer 5 years ago. havent had a single issue since. never unplug backing in never worry about a blown bulb. $50 for the set and done. also put 3 sets of yellow markers on the side. looks good at night.
