hey, i <br />can put a 1975 Rude 125 w/ele shift or should i keep my 1970 merc 50? which is a better motor, they are both in fair condition

Depends on the boat you are putting it on and the condition of the motors. You don't give us much - -

Don't think that the 125 is a 1975 Model. Last one in the 70's was 1972. Don't think V4 models had electric shift after 1972.
