Change from 12 inch to 13 inch tire

I have an escort trailer with 12 inch 5.30x12 carlisle bias ply tires and want to go with 13 inch tire and wheel. One pro is that I can get a 13 inch radial trailer tire. Will I have to replace or modify anything else?

As long as you have clearance, it should be OK.

Just remember that your boat will be a little higher out of the water, so you'll have to back it in a tad farther. 1" won't be much of a difference though...you might want to think about even bigger tires if you can fit them. The tires will last longer, and your bearings will have to turn considerably less for any given trip.
