Central Ohio/ Alum Creek

My nephews are having a birthday party this Sunday at Alum creek beach. Neither one has ever been on a boat so i was going to take my boat up there to give them a ride or 2 and take a few others out but my question is do you know if there is a dock or a place i can beach the boat near the beach? I don't want to leave it anchored up or take it out for a hour then load it back up. I know there is a ramp near the beach but I think it's a little bit of a ways down.

I've boated and 'boat camped' at Alum Creek. There is a launching ramp near the beach, but not right next to it. There is also a Marina operation where you could probably load and un-load at....but, while I've never done it, most boats are anchored outside of the swimming area and folks get wet going back and forth. Hope this helps.

Everyone anchors and swims in to the beach. You can also beach it south of the "beach", but shoreline is limited and rocky.
