Hi, I need some info for centering the steering wheel on a Marada 18 ft 1994 bow rider with Teleflex sys. Since I ran thru a sand bar its been off to starboard almost a 1/4 of a turn or less and would like to center it by adjusting the linkage some where. Thanking you in advance. Delmar

No expert, and have only installed one Teleflex QCII, but would suspect that link rod might have been bent or now have accessive play after you hit the sand bar. If there is no damage, and you still have the same motion and turn distance to each side, check your steering wheel for multiple key postions. The ACE steering wheel I installed, had three different key positions.

Summer, I would also checkout the system for a bent rod or something. If it looks and feels OK and it is a rack and pinion system, you can disconnect the steering cable rack from the pinion (2 or 4 bolts), center the wheel and cable, and reconnect it.
