From what I,ve read and understand all cell phone numbers will be made public to Telemarketing firms, starting Jan.1,2005 you have until Dec.15,2004 to get on the list!!!<br /><br />You can call 1-888-382-1222 from your cell phone in order to be put on the list!!! You can also be added to the list via the web www.donotcall.gov Once registered it is good for 5 years!!!

I'd have to say this is true, as I got a phone call the other day on my cell from a tele-turd-marketer.<br /><br />I wasn't very nice.<br /><br />The quickly disappeared after I told them I was on the do-not-call list already.<br /><br />Their number came up on my caller ID so I reported them.<br /><br />H.

I Love it....<br />April 1st when it went into effect, My phone Stopped Ringing..... I Truely Love It.......<br />The Only calls I get now are My cable co., My phone co.,+ Politicans........<br />Oh Well......... It's Still better than all the Window Salesmen........... <br /><br />Now, being on Both lists,......

Indiana has mega short comings, but we do have a great no-call project. The attorney general has a tag along to the current plan for cell numbers.<br />Leave it off or read your display before answering.

I registered both cell phones on the do not call list when it first became available on the east coast. Thanks to this thread, I went out to the FCC this weekend to verify they are on the list - lo and behold - they are. If I get calls, I'll record their number and turn 'em in. That would make me feel really good!
