First cell phone accident Iv'e heard of on the water. Three guys rented PWCs. One of them was making a video with his cell phone while riding, and crossed in front of another. The second guy tried to avoid him and they crashed. The video ski hull was split and taking on water so they got it to shore and someone in a boat took him to calville for his injuries. We were crossing the lower basin in out pontoon, and I was amazed to find that we were catchin up to a PWC. Found the other two on one ski trying to tow the other. We offered to follow them in; good thing too 'cause they ran out of gas. We tied on and loaded them on our boat to tow the skis in. got right to boulder harbor inlet and we ran out of gas. Trolling motor took all 3 to the dock. They had declined the insurance so their bill is going to be huge.

Re: cell phone

I assume he's commenting on the rental bill being huge since they wrecked one of the rented PWCs and declined insurance.

Think he's commenting on the fact that everyone involved seems to have run out of gas.

Re: cell phone

The reality is the rental company has to insure them anyways....

And the running out of petro issue is a case of murphy's law....lol sheesh.
