Hi there, I have what is said 1984 (was also told it was a 1986) force 125. I bought it without spark and it turns out I have a bad CDI box. I was wondering if that’s year and engine size specific or if I could get say a 85 hp 1986. I’m unsure any I don’t have a booklet Any tips will be appreciated thank you.

Yes, you can but may have to change the plugs/connectors on the ends

Okay thank you, would you happen to know if even smaller ones would work there’s a handful of 25-50 hp in my town but the closet 80hp is 4 hours away
