just put a 130 hp honda on my 21 ft flat al boat. caring in for 20 hr ch up tomorrow. when u get down on it it is either hesitating or cavitating. is there a way 2 tell which it is doing?<br />thankx <br /><br />bobby
There sure is, Bobby.<br /><br />If the prop ventilates (grabs air) or cavitates (creates water vapor and loses thrust) your engine over-revs. <br /><br />If your engine hesitates it does not rev up normally.<br /><br />Good luck.
