I have a friend that brought his late 90 model wave runners over for me to store for the winter. Last year he put new batteries in them. I noticed when he dropped them off the keys where stuck in the ignition switch. Would this cause the ignition box to be fired on all the time and kill the batter or will the box only draw power when it's started?
