catfishing in northern michigan?

been trying to find a good river in northen michigan & up. any tips? love catfishing. thanks for any help or tips.

im from the u.p., but never heard of catfishing up here. by the way, come down to kalkaska about 5 times a year, very nice area and town

thanks rc581 thats what i thought no catfish around here. yes this is a nice area but not as nice as the u.p. the wife and i try to get up there anytime we can. we like the newberry area
