Catamaran sail boat into a aqua casa

I have catamaran pontoons and they are for the sail boat type. I was wondering if I could use them to make a Aqua Casa style house boat? I have plans for a 16' style. They potoons I have are 18'

The short answer is no. They were designed to only carry a couple of people? That Aqua Casa uses a flat bottom hull to get enough flotation to support it's weight. I believe pontoons from a pontoon boat would be badly overloaded with that kind of weight, and if you were to use Hobi Cat type pontoons, they would be even more over loaded.

Thank you Ahicks.Ok, I have two more question you might be able help me with. I have 17 canoe is there a way I can make that into a pontoon to help equalize the weight? or can I use the hobi pontoons to make a pontoon boat. Which would be just a platform?

Hate to sound too discouraging, but these plans just don't supply enough flotation/capacity to make what you're considering very practical.
