Re: Carburetor info.

Frankly I have had nothing but problems trying to use a float gauge in past years and found thru trial and error that the following is as good as anyone will ever get a float setting. Try it and let us know how it works for you.

(Carburetor Float Setting)
(J. Reeves)

With the carburetor body held upside down, the float being viewed from the side, adjust the float so that the free end of the float (the end opposite the hinge pin) is ever so slightly higher (just ever so slightly off level) than the other end. And when viewed from the end, make sure it is not cocked.

(Yes, there is a gauge for just about everything)

Re: Carburetor info.

I don`t have a float gauge and don`t know where to get one, so I have to measure the float height and drop.
I`ll say THAKK YOU to Joe Reeves, I`ll do what you said and let you know how it works.:)
THANKS AGAIN.................HAS
