Engine. Force L-Drive 1991 120 HP<br /><br />Problem:<br /><br />Boat starts on idle with not problem, after perfectly running for a while, I stop the boat and it sits there for a while. I start the engine again, it goes on gear and the engine dies.I have to wait some time on idle for it to work. <br /><br />Last time I used, it got worse. <br />I had the boat in full trottle and it went real slow until it died.<br />Engine would not start for a while and when it started the moment that I put it on gear it died again. On idle it would work for a little while and die.<br /><br />I talked to a mechanic and he said the problem is the carburator that need to be cleaned.<br /><br />Also I was thinking if that had anything to do with not mixing the gas and 2-cycle oil outside first, but mixing as fueling the tank could be the problem.<br /><br />Is this something that I could fix or better have a marine mechanic look at it ?
