The boat will not run unless you pour gas straight into the carburator, when that gas runs out it dies. We have had the carburator rebuilt, and this did not solve the problem. Any suggestions on what else to do would be great.

Are you getting any fuel to that carb in the first place?Does'nt sound like it.Check the anti siphon valve and the whole fuel delivery system to the fuel pump then from the pump to the carb all the while keeping in mind that gasoline is very flammable and the smoke that is hanging out of your mouth may well start the garage on fire. Please be carefull.

It is putting it in on the float side of the carb. But will not go on thru.

Someone fouled up the rebuild. Sounds like a gasket was installed upside down or reversed.

Have the accelerator pump in the carb checked. It is often overlooked and not replaced many times.

and

Does the engine exhibit vacuum when cranked? Is there adaquate suction in the carb?

Bob
