Hey, Schematic<br /> Ineed the Price of a New Carburator for a <br /> Mercury 50HP Classic Motor It has 2 but only need one the seat on it is messed up I dont to rebuild it just want to put a new one on. G. Norris

Need serial number and numbers off the carb if you can get them.. Complete carb is around 240.00

Maybe I do need to rework the Carburator, two bills is a little steep ro a retired fellow. Can you replace the seat in the Carburator, or is a permant seat, do you have to have a special tool totake it out &<br />to put it back in. G. Norris

Yep that kind of money will do it to me also. I dont know your serial number so I just looked up a repair kit for a 50hp.. It was 43.91 and included the needle and seat. There are cheaper aftermarket kits. No special tools required.

Thanks Fellows, for the info. I think I"ll go that rout of building the Carburator. You aure know a lot more than I do wjhen it come to repairing a Boat Motor, I"m just a old repairman myself but not on Boats, on Air Conditioners, Refrigerators & Appliances.<br />G. Norris
