carbs set up now starts harder

hi guys hope all is well with you
i have just balanced and got the mixture done on my 2 stromberg carbs, the good news is she now runs like a dream the bad news is it takes longer to start where as before when the carb was way not tuned properly she started first click.
is this normal for it to now be a hard starter

It could just be your Starting Technique....

Are you advancing the throttle,..??

i have tried it with throttle and without also chokes on an chokes off

I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis! Miller is the wife's brew. I didn't know a boat could start on just a click of the starter?! Mine never does.
