Carbon treatment for Ficht motors

Does anyone know what is the best way to cope with carbon buildup in these type (Ficht) motors? I thought I read somewhere about something put in the gas, but I can't find that at all.......thanks

OMC makes an additive called "Carbon Guard" and also sells a de-carbonizing spray.<br /><br />Bob
