Carbon Monoxide Alarm issue

During this hot weather, does anyone else have issues with your detector going off? Our alarm will be quiet for a few days and then go off for no reason.

Ours is a surface mount Safe-T-Alert detector that is hard wired in the bathroom. It is four years old. Does anyone know if this something I can replace or does it need a service call? I have a 2007 23' Crownline.
