Carb ?

Hi I have a 1988 mariner 115 6 cylinder. I am able to find carb kits out the wazoo. The prob is I want to know where I can find just all new carbs for it instead of rebuilding the old.

can anyone help

why? is there something wrong with the old?never replaced carbs and ive had 9 old,old,old engines.

one of them is cracked dont ask me how but it is.

its going to be hard to find carbs i can tell you that unless a marine shop has them on the shelf its not like a starter thats bound to go, carbs can be rebuilt... I sugggest finding that cracked part on ebay, or one carb and rebuild all of the good ones....

According to the parts manual, the carb on that motor is the standard sidebowl single barrel carb used on most of the inline 4/6 cylinder models since the early 70s. You should not have any problem finding one. I currently have three from a '77 merc 1500 inline six. if you are interested, drop me a PM.
