Carb Tweak

What can I do to my BF20 outboard to accommodate high altitude? My manual says to take it to an authorized dealer to tweak it before the trip and when I come back. I know it's a venturi type carb and with past experience I know there's not much adjustment. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

where are you at altitude, and where are you going

I'm at 3,000 right now and we're going up to Lake Sabrina, just east of Bishop which is around 8,500

you need to drop 2-3 jets sizes down

Is there fixed jets in your engine or an adjustment on the carb. My 15 hp Honda has a screw for leaning it out. I kniw mine if a lot older than yours' so I was just wondering.
