Carb Settings for 1969 Johnson 55 HP 3 CYL Help!

I need to know where the brass top center adjustment should be, on each of the 3 carbs for this motor. At present, from lightly seated, I have them set at 1 turn out, or 360 degrees.. I have replaced pistons, rings, coils, stater, amplifier, etc.. I have completely rebuilt the wiring harness from scratch..The motor idles okay, and revs up fine. I have Not placed it under load yet... I just want to have this adjustment close to where it should be... Any thoughts would be appreciated.. I am running this motor today.. Ross I answered this on your other thread but I will answer again. With motor in water and starting adjustment of 5/8 turn outward from seat let engine warm up and ajust each carb until you get the smoothest idle and the highest rpms.
