I'm planning on buying a carb kit for my 25 johnny to hopefully fix my acceleration sputter problem. I've got a seloc manual but the carb section is not as clear as I'd like. Can someone direct me to a step by step instruction set for rebuilding a carb? I'm a little hesitant to jump into this without having a clearcut plan of attack. I've heard from a lot of people that a carb kit job is an easy job but I'd like ot have some good instructions before I get into this. Thanks.

Here goes -

1. Note linkages & connections & remove carb. If unsure take a few pictures.

2. Dissassemble, clean major crud & soak all parts overnight with carb cleaner.

3. Thoroughly blow out all parts with compressed air - not the rattle can type.

4. Reassemble using new parts from kit.

5. Adjust float level & jets as per manual.

6. Reinstall on engine & do a sync & link per manual.

7. Test & run.
