What carb do I have also noticed there is a two wire going to it,is this the choke.
Could some one explain how the choke is activated.
I'm not sure which carb you have but the two wires are a power and a ground. The power wire on my 470, goes from the coil + side to the center choke connection. Power is activated when the key is turned on.
