carb info - omc

i was wondering if anyone could tell me what cfm the 4bbl rochester q-jet from a 3.8 omc is.
the number stamped on the side is 17082515

ive been looking all day and cant figure it out.

most likely 650, there were 750 versions but they were used on motors 400 cid and up. a q-jet only flows what the engine can take ,so it may seem too big but it isnt

so, i am switching to a mrine edelbrock, i have to go by cfm.

im thinking a 650 would be too much... i thought it should be around 500. any ideas?

a q-jet is never too big, the primarys only flow about 250 cfm, the secondarys only flow what the engine will take, as long as it is jetted correctly it will work
