Carb fuel filter?

Hello all: I have a 1994 volvo 4.3 that sometimes has a hard time pumping fuel to the carb. I have filled up the fuel filter, checked, and cleaned the anti-syphon valve. And even cleaned the fuel tank out. The pump seems to operate okay durring starting, and it runs fine when started. I was wondering If there is a carb filter like they used to have in the GM trucks? Or am I having a failing fuel pump. I will try and find a fuel pressure gage, and see what I get. Thanks Dave -R

Here is something I have asked about a 1,000 time.

What is the full model number, or the serial number of your engine. Year of your boat means nothing as boats may have engine packages a year older or newer depending on when the boat was built.
