carb change

If I put a 30 horse carbs on my 25 horse motor, will I get increase in hp. power heads apear to be same, same bore, same everything. In fact the shop mannual I have lists all specks for the two motors as the same. Oh yeah 93 Suki DT25, want to put DT30 carbs on it. Thanks

I dont have much experience in that field on outboards, but on a 2 stroke dirtbike, if you want more power, you have to not only change the carb, but you also have to change the reeds and the main jet. Hope this helps.
