What distributor do you have? What year and model number is your engine.
That will determine which cap and rotor you need. Mercruiser has used all kinds of caps (and ignition systems) over the years.

I think Yamaha only had 2 yems and EST. mine is an EST becasue it had the distributor. They only made them 2 years. mine was installed in 91. The block is a Chevy 305. Im not sure what distributor i have.

You have the standard Delco Voyager EST distributor. You can get the parts right here at iboats. Sierra part numbers are 18-5354 for the cap and 18-5405 for the rotor. Cap and Rotor
