capri tailer 1 axle 2 bunks they Piviot hate them

I have a 1994 2050 Bayliner 20.5 FT with capri tailer it has only 2 bunks they Piviot and I hate them Last time out it pivioted one to the side of the bunk was against the boat and I had to back down literaly 20 times to finally get it to piviot to the center. tried to push the boat over to center it while out of the water but no luck. I believe I would do better if they didnt pivot and stayed flat. is this a flaw, bad design or is it me? suggestions anyone.. thanks

I am by no means an expert, nor familiar with your specific trailer, but my "bunks" are permanent and stationary- do not "pivot". it is a self centering set up and a breeze to get the boat up.

Tighten them, or weld in place.
